tHe BEAUTY of CoRRIdor

I have been really busy for the past few months. One submission after another. I have just completed another mixed development project relying solely on corridor feature. I must say that I am pleased... This is the result..

Question: I have used LDD for quite sometime, but I'm concerned that I will lose the flexibility of the profile editor and road templates switching to Civil 3D.

I have not found a way to warp the minor side street as it ties into the major thru street. We profile the top of curb at centerline alignment, which enables us to create left and right top of curb profile and connect it to the road template at right elevations to the thru street. Once I have the road output breaklines, I can use a simple trick to show the warping via centerline breakline that migrates until the crown disappears as it warps to the thru street slope.

Let me know how it can be done in Civil 3D

Hi there! Thanks for the comment. I can only assure you C3D will be able to do what you want and with the latest release, it just gonna gets better. Happy trying. I would suggest e-mailing me the completed LDD dwg if you want me to have a look at it. Thanks

Would it be asking too much for you to explain how you completed the benched walls?
